Start with the exact input
Destiny 2 combines weapon controls with class abilities, movement and contextual interactions. Name the action you are testing first. An input profile cannot be assessed from a generic “shooting feels different” description without the weapon and ability state.
What to record before changing settings
| Check | Write down | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Loadout | Record weapon, relevant attachments/perks and the action being tested. | A changed loadout makes an earlier input comparison less useful. |
| Ability and movement | Record the class action, melee, grenade and movement binds. | A shared input may be interpreted differently by the current state. |
| Accessibility and rules | Check Bungie’s current peripheral and accessibility guidance. | A connection claim is separate from the publisher’s permitted-use rules. |
A useful first comparison
- Confirm basic movement, camera and firing through the game’s supported controller setup. Keep any accessibility requirements attached to that setup note.
- Choose one repeatable action in an appropriate practice setting. Do not combine an aiming adjustment with a new ability or movement sequence.
- Compare the same action with the baseline and record the visible result. If a different ability triggers, inspect the in-game bind and modifier before changing timing.
When to repeat the check
Recheck loadout and controls after a game or profile update. Input automation does not supply awareness of enemies or guarantee a gameplay outcome; use current Bungie guidance for the actual device and purpose.
Check the current game and platform rules for your setup. A controller connection and permission to use additional input hardware are separate questions.
Documentation and next steps
Use Destiny 2 official information for the current game documentation and the Cronus hardware guide for the device connection. This article does not claim a current GamePack exists for every platform or game edition.
Ozark ERA is an NBA 2K27 product. The other game articles are general controller references; they do not extend ERA support to those games.
