04 / A REPEATABLE COMPARISON

Fix early or late AutoGreen shots

Narrow an ERA OneTap timing issue using the active input, comparable shots and separate release and tempo observations.

01

First decide whether the sequence started

A click that does nothing and a shot that releases early are different problems. If no OneTap sequence starts, verify ERA ONETAP, SHOT BIND and the active slot. Increasing a hold cannot fix an input that never selected that path.

When the sequence starts, identify the shot context. A normal standing click is the simple RELEASE PT example. Trigger-selected or No-Dip attempts belong in their own groups, with their actual fields and conditions recorded.

02

Collect a clean group before moving a number

Use the same equipped jumper, standing location and environment. Let the left stick settle and keep the triggers released for the normal baseline. Leave Human Mode, Human Tempo and Human Variation unchanged. Write down five comparable observations rather than remembering only the last miss.

If attempts mix early and late feedback, check for a changing input or context before making a larger adjustment. An interrupted or different kind of shot should be identified in the note instead of silently counted as the same experiment.

03

Compare one small hold change

For a consistently early normal OneTap hold, compare a small increase to RELEASE PT. For consistently late release, compare a small decrease. For example, 680 to 685 ms illustrates a five-millisecond test; it is not a recommended setting for every jumper.

Record the original value so the comparison can be reversed. Repeat the same conditions after the edit and check that the active device shows it. Do not change INSTA TEMPO or a Human control in the same step and then attribute the result to RELEASE PT alone.

04

Keep the conclusion as narrow as the observation

A cleaner group can support repeating the test. It does not establish a universal preset, a measured green window or a guarantee of future shots. A new jumper, environment or build is a new condition to verify.

When release feedback is repeatable but tempo feedback still differs, investigate the separate transition. When the menu or path remains unclear, return to the field explorer and the source reference before continuing.
